Due to illness, mostly related to my heartburn, I have spent the last two nights at the Heritage hospital. I am ok and can now rest at home with medicine. The medical care is good but of course Indian style. If the doctor is about to attend to you in one hour – it takes three. The motto is: There is a pill for everything; even the side effects are curable with more medicine. If you have a question they don’t understand, or know the answer to, they answer you anyway. The stay at the Heritage has, besides the medical part, increased my patience which is a valuable ability when living in India. Even though I never walk alone the past days have been psychologically tough to be honest but hopefully the negative health pattern will turn and I can start to get settled here. I am very much looking forward to start with my thesis.
